 (rain date is Sunday\, Sept. 22) from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. The first hour is desi
 gnated as sensory-friendly for community members with special needs. Repre
 sentatives from The Goofy Gators will be on hand throughout the day to pro
 vide support to our special needs patrons. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. families
  can learn about the different types of trucks in use throughout the commu
 nity. The event is a FREE\, family-friendly\, hands-on event offering chil
 dren the opportunity to EXPLORE\, CLIMB\, and TOUCH trucks\, emergency res
 ponse vehicles and heavy machinery. Children will meet personnel who prote
 ct\, serve\, and build our community. This experience is a valuable learni
 ng opportunity for children as our sponsors can explain how these gigantic
  vehicles serve the community in such ways as first response (police/fire/
 EMS)\, farming\, manufacturing\, construction\, etc.
